I was pretty stoked to wake up a few days ago and see that my blog had gotten moved up to PR3 with Google’s last page rank update. I guess that means some of the methods for marketing and promotion that I advocate here on the blog are working right? Now I’m working on setting up PayPerPost, which is a great way to make money with a blog once you’ve attained some rank and traffic.

Hopefully all works out, in case you were wondering. The bold phrase at the top is what I have to use to claim my blog.

First of all, let me introduce you to Unique Article Wizard. It’s a tool I’ve used in the past to build my website’s page rank from 0 – 3 within one pagerank update. You write an article, submit it to UAW and it changes the articles around (making a bunch of unique versions) and auto-submits the article to hundreds of article directories. The tool gave me an amazing bang for my buck, so if you are interested in building your pagerank, I highly recommend trying out the Wizard .

There are two ends of Unique Article Wizard though; those who submit articles to build page rank, and those who use the articles other people submit for unique content. If you want to use other people’s articles to create a niche website, then UAW is completely free. So here is a method I’ve used to create free auto-blogs on blogger/blogspot using Unique Article Wizard.

Signup for UAW

Signup for blogger/blogspot

Create a blog based on a specific niche (You might want to pick a category related to the ones available in the uaw-article-directory)

On your blogger blog, setup an email to send posts to:

Settings

Email

On UAW, setup the unique article services with the ‘Receive Articles’ wizard.

Install google ads, stumble, bookmark, tweet your new blog for some initial visitors. Then Rinse and repeat (one of the most cliche internet marketing terms of all time I know). After that you’re all good, you’ve just setup a fully automated money maker… completely free.

Guide for the night, and now goodnight

Installing akismet is just about the first thing I do every time I start up a blog. Recently I started a blog and put off activating akismet for a couple of weeks just to see what it was like. At first I sort of liked the results, I saw a lot more comments coming in. But alas, all of the comments were spam. It’s surprising though, spam comments are becoming harder and harder to sift through.

Nowadays people come to blogs with automated software and say something like “Great Post” leaving their link in the name. Now, don’t get me wrong that could be a real person adding a real comment to your website, but it is most likely a computer program sent out to get more links for someone’s website.

Here are a few examples of spammy comments that Akismet will automatically block.

“great content”

“I came upon your site with a google site and I must say i am loving this information”

You probably know the whole speel. So anyways, get Akisment installed and you won’t have to worry about too many spammy-worthless comments!

Similar to site-flipping, article flipping is the art of buying bulk orders of articles at low prices and then selling them in smaller packages for more money. This is a quick and easy guide so I’ll just get straight to the point instead of over explaining it.

Go to a freelancing website like “Get a Freelancer“.

Either look for someone who is selling unique content and offers discounts on bulk orders, or post a wanted ad and let freelancers come to you.

When you find someone who is selling 300-400 word articles for $2 or less, take them up on their offer and purchase as many as you deem reasonable.

Make sure the seller is credible, speaks good english, and has quality writing skills. Some people sell their articles cheap because they can’t write at all!

After purchasing, go through your articles and setup smaller packages of articles. For example; you could 5 internet marketing articles together and sell them all for $20. That’s doubling the money you invested (if you had payed a going rate of $2 per article).

When you’ve got your articles setup and ready to sell, head over to the ‘marketplace’ of digitalpoint and start selling your articles!

Hopefully you will find a plentiful amount of buyers. If you can’t sell an article, you can always create some sort of article directory/blog and publish all of your unused articles there. Or you could make an account on associatedcontent and try and earn a few dollars per article on that website (plus the money you get per 1000 views).

Buying something for cheap and then selling it for more is the art of a flipper. Some people are capable of purchasing a website, and then selling it for more without doing anything to the website. Others like purchasing websites, doing a bit of touch up work/improving the quality, and then increasing the price and reselling it at a later date. Whether your a designer, an SEO specialist, or you just have a good eye for great deals then flipping is a good way to make a bit of money online.

In my experiences I have found that the best place to buy and sell websites (at least for the purpose of site-flipping) would be the digitalpoint forums. Often times there are gullible/”newbies” that will buy websites for more than an experienced internet marketer would value a site at. This makes it a great site to sell on, and you’ll find people giving up on their websites and practically throwing them away at the same time.

So signup for digitalpoint and check out the marketplace. Examine what the going rates are for certain websites, and after a couple days of studying, start buying and selling. Sometimes you’ll find that people are looking to purchase autoblogs. If you know how to set one up, (it’s pretty simple!) then you can sell a brand new website for $10-30 depending on the quality of your work.

If you were to buy a brand new website, you could use a few of the link building techniques seen on blogdub.com to boost the pagerank of your website. A website with page rank will be worth a lot more than a website without pagerank, even just the domain name could be worth a lot.

Not much of a guide, but an idea. Gawsh I need to think of something good to post!

It’s hard for me to get inspiration to write posts for my blogs sometimes. It’s not always because I don’t want to write, but because I just don’t feel like writing. Maybe it’s because I’m a lazy dude who doesn’t want to work my way through life, I always come back to my websites to try and earn a few dollars while doing something I (actually do) like doing. So here is a list of things I do (although they may be strange) which get me pumped up and ready to write a new article on my blog.

1) Drink a cup of coffee: Not only does the caffeine in coffee stimulate your brain, it’s really healthy. Whenever I drink coffee I feel extremely intellectual, wise, and old. In other words, I feel like if I’m drinking coffee… I’m meant to be a writer. It reminds me of all those people I hear about bringing their laptops to Starbucks and writing entire novels in a single day. Although I don’t go to Starbucks, I just make the coffee on my own to save money. I’d also feel like a douche if I brought my laptop to Starbucks and tapped away while everyone was looking over my shoulder. So anyways, coffee. Learn more here

2) Creatine: You know that pre-workout supplement people take before they go workout? Well if you don’t, then check it out on bodybuilding.com. You take it about 30-40 minutes before you workout, and it gets you all pumped up, and focused. The benefit to this, is not only the caffeine that you would otherwise find in coffee, but the time frame you are given before you should go exercise. You have 40 minutes before you’re going to go workout, so you might as well get some work done. Whenever I take creatine, I quite often sit down and blog for about 20-30 minutes before I head of to the gym to pump iron. Yea I’m a meathead/jerk/really white!

3) My dad telling me to get a job: If you don’t have a father figure or somebody to get on your ass about getting a job then you’re out of luck. But if you have any close friends, have them give you a call and tell you to get a job and stop being a lifeless loser. Your ambitions to make money online will increase ten fold. Although you may not go out and look for a job, you could still try and earn some money on the internet, using the many methods found on blogdub.com xD.

4) Read forums: often times reading about other people making money, success stories, and seeing really cool blogs/articles can inspire me to go blog. Of course this is a sort of impulsive nature of mine. If I see somebody make a really cool arcade site, I’ll want to make one too… just to join the fad and be popular.

5) Being passionate about the subject your blogging about: If you’re interested in whatever you blog about, you’ll most likely always have something new to write about. I’m constantly trying to make money online, so I always know of new methods and tactics for doing so. I like sharing my thoughts with people, and that helps.

Hopefully this caffeine/creatine/get a job induced post will help you find reason to get on your website and write a new post. Earn some money my fellow screw-ups/internet marketers.

If you happen to know anything about CPA and Facebook, then this method should be a piece of cake to get a grasp on. After browsing through some Facebook fan pages I got a great idea for how anyone could start earning some money by creating their own fan page. Of course profits will vary based on your ability to attract visitors to your fan page, but honestly that’s not too hard. You could even pay to advertise your fan page through facebook, and still make great returns.

Still though, this method will be most effective for people experienced in;

Creating viral content/hooks

Building multiple profiles with lots of friends

using a computer

The truth is anybody could do this. So anyways I’ll get down to the method!

Signup for facebook, or use an account you’ve already created. The more friends the better, you could invite them to your fan page .

Signup for CPA Lead. (A cpa network with a “content-blocker” or “gateway”, where users must complete a survey of your choice before they are allowed to see the content on a web page).

Now choose a topic to make your fan page about. Something like “The Funniest FML you have to see it!!!” or “fat kid slips on ice cube which lands in moms soup”. Basically all you have to do is find a funny youtube video and your set.

Make a website, if you don’t want to pay for your own domain or anything that’s no big deal. Just create a blogger blog. Create a post, and embed the funny video you found.

Now to create your gateway. Go to CPA Lead and login. Click on “Widgets”, then “create a new widget”. Simply run through the setup to build your content gateway. Once you’ve finished, embed the code they give you into your web page.

Now that your website is done, all you have to do is promote it. Go to facebook and create a fan page. Setup the fan page to include a link to your website. If you really want to do things right you should add a few features to your fan page.
>Don’t allow people to view the link to the video without joining the fan page
>Enourage fans to invite their friends + post your fan page to their profile before exposing the location of the content.

It’s as simple as that, and now depending on how popular your fan page becomes you could be earning quite a bit of money daily. With each person who completes a survey in order to unlock the content on your website you could earn somewhere around $0.50 to $5.00. Also, it’s not like you have to use Facebook as your only method of promotion! Content gateways have been around for a little while now and they are being put to great use, affiliate marketers have a real opportunity to make a lot of money with these programs!

Google Adsense is a tool many webmasters get frustrated with, but when used the right way it can earn quite a bit of money. Many bloggers will setup a website and put a google ad somewhere in the sidebar, or maybe above the content of their posts. Although putting an ad on your site automatically gives you potential to earn money, you could increase your potential drastically by experimenting with high ctr ad placements. If you decide to make a blog with hopes of making the majority of your money from Google Adsense, you should probably download a good adsense ready theme. I’m particularly fond of the list created by Dosh Dosh “18 Adsense Optimized Wordpress Themes“.

Alright, so enough with my trivial explanations… Here’s a guide on how you could start making around $20 a day using adsense work). (with just a bit of work).

Ok, Step -

Woops…

Use this tool to find a high paying/traffic keyword for your Google ads. Certain ads can pay money in the double digit range per click.

Once you’ve chosen a keyword that suites you create a website/blog. Write up some content, you’ll want at least 10 300-500 word articles filled with your keywords before you start promotion.

If you chose to create a blog, you could use one of the wordpress themes from the list I linked to on DoshDosh’s website. If not, you could just place ads on your own, you could at least use the adsense-ready themes for inspiration on where to put your ads. (or not!)

Now you have a keyword rich website ready to be promoted, eventually you could be getting some visitors from the search engines. Don’t expect profiting to be that easy though, you’ll have to spend about an hour or two per day writing, or hiring somebody else to write articles!

Signup for Ezinearticles.com, publish articles related to your website’s content and include a link to your website in the author box at the end of the article. If you publish 1-2 daily for a month you could have 30-60 articles generating traffic to your website. A well written article could receive 1000s of views, which would usually result in a couple hundred visitors, as well as a few visitors per day that will just continue to trickle in to your website.

With a high CTR/high paying keyword/keyword rich website like you have created, you should now be earning around $20 per day, with just 50-100 visitors per day. Remember there is no limit to the number of articles you could submit to EzineArticles per day, and nor are there limits to how many visitors your website can get, or how much profits you could make! Try other methods of promotion and go for the gold.

With feed aggregation and social networking sites it’s becoming easier and easier to get completely automated backlinks to your website. Of course although this method is completely automated, it does require a bit of busy work to setup in the beginning. The good thing is, once you’ve signed up to a few websites (the more the merrier) the more backlinks will be created for your blog (or any website you have that has a feed).

If you are familiar with wordpress widgets like WP to Twitter, then you’ll know how this method works. The difference is, you will be using one website to manage up to hundreds of microblogging sites that are Dofollow. That means that you get a backlink on every one of the social networking sites you sign up for, every single time you update your blog!

If you know anything about identi.ca, which I wrote a post on about a week ago. You’ll know that it is dofollow and it’s a great tool for getting backlinks to your website. Identi.ca runs on a software called ‘Status.net’ and there are several other sites that run on the same software. So anyways, now I’ll get to the part where I explain exactly how you can get backlinks from each of these websites automatically.

Here is a large list of microblogs running on the status.net software. Scroll through the list and sign up for as many of the sites as you’d like, like I said earlier the more the merrier. Each site you signup for will can’t as a new backlink from a different site, they are mostly all run by different people with different IPs.

Now signup for twitterfeed.com: Add your blog feed, and then add in all of the accounts you made on the various microblogging websites. When choosing from ‘available services’ pick laconica, that is the default name for the sites running the ’status.net’ software. This makes it so that every time you write a new post on your blog twitterfeed will automatically update all of your microblogging accounts.

And honestly it’s as simple as that, you can create as many accounts as you please… or you could stick to just 1 account per site and still get a pretty large amount of backlinks.

Good luck linkin’ up dawgs.

Often times when you jump right into something you don’t do it completely right. Which is why sometimes in the world of internet marketing it’s good to get familiar with something before you start a huge project revolving around it.

For example, before you decide to make 100 auto blogs with a goal of making $3.00 a day per blog, try making one auto-blog and seeing what you think about the whole process. The same goes for writing your own blog, creating a free blogger blog before you go and purchase your own server, buy a domain, and spend a bunch of money on promotions for your website.

It’s good to know what you are getting into, before you get into it. I’ve made multiple websites impulsively, and ended up blowing tons of money on them and they were completely fruitless. I’m just using this post as a sort of friendly reminder to do research, and ‘test the waters’ before you make a decision you might regret.

Just a sort of pointless tip, I know I’ll continue to do things impulsively.
