Awesome High PR Backlinks from Digg

This is a method that could be used to get as many high PR do-follow links from digg as you’d like.  It’s easy, it’s free, and it’s a great way to build up your site’s ranking without too much risk.

  1. Signup for a new account on digg, this way you don’t risk your main account getting banned for spamming.  Although you will only be spamming on very old digg topics to remain under the radar, and keep the focus on Digg’s aged/high ranking inner pages.
  2. Now go to either the front page of digg, or choose a category relevant to the link you are going to be promoting.
  3. Make sure you are looking at “Popular” articles rather than “Upcoming” articles.  Then click on the link in the top right to view the most popular articles from 365 days ago.  This will ensure that you are looking at some old articles that have had an opportunity to age and build ranking.
  4. Now simply comment on the article with your link.
  5. Then, go to an autopinging website like; pingoat, pingler, autopinger, or etc… Just do a google search for an autopinging service and I’m sure quite a few will show up.  Ping the digg article that you just commented on, it will notify these websites that the page has been updated and SEs will find your link faster.  (Which means you get a backlink faster).

I didn’t make this up, and I’d like to give credit where credit is due.  I read about this about a year ago though and I don’t remember who it was that outted the method.  I figure bringing back some of the old stuff is good, I don’t think many people are using this method currently!

Hi there, thanks for the post. I just tried a few. I am hoping the comment will stick. I tried to look up some forums to see if the method is working for people but is awfully quiet.

Has it worked for you. Would love to get some assurance from someone who has seen a jump in SERP rating….

I looked up my link again that I left in the comment, it is no follow now….so I guess it doesn’t work.
